I can't imagine what half of northern NEw England might be going through right now. Although I was hit with the storm myself, we merely lost power for a few minutes before it came back on. But reports from eversourse are stating that some homes may not get power for three days. So far the only damage my house has witnessed is a downed tree that caused no damage and a leak in the skylight in my bedroom. I woke up at 1 in the morning as my pillow and whole left side was soaked by rain water that leaked through the window. After waking up my parents, my mother and I moved my entire bed out of the way. No I get to climb up onto the roof and check why it leaked. I found out that Halloween has been postponed in many towns due to the downed trees and power outages. A terrible storm to witness at the end of October. May everyone stay safe out there.
